🧶 **About Me**

Hello! I'm Helena, a textile artist who originally trained as a fashion designer and dressmaker, with a deep love for fabric, form, and the quiet magic of transformation.

I began my creative journey in Colombia, designing hand-embroidered clothing that celebrated craftsmanship and personal expression. Later, I moved to Spain to deepen my practice in pattern drafting and stylism for theatre and events, where I had the joy of collaborating with multidisciplinary artists and designers across diverse creative fields.

Today, I work in education in UK, dedicating my time to sharing the therapeutic and connective power of art and crafts. I have enhanced DBS and also I am an Art Award Bronze and Silver advisor. Whether I’m guiding a workshop or helping someone breathe new life into a cherished garment, my approach is rooted in care, precision, and a reverence for the stories woven into every thread. 

My practice continues wherever creativity is welcome. From small adjustments to collaborative textile projects, I treat each stitch as an act of intention.
